What is Chemical Logistics and ADR?
Chemical logistics is also known as ADR logistics or hazardous materials logistics. Chemical substance logistics, transportation and storage include substances with chemical properties that may pose a danger to both living things and the environment. For this reason, it includes equipment and vehicles with different hardware compared to other products in the transportation and storage process.
ADR is a European agreement that secures the logistics of chemicals and dangerous goods by road transport. With the ADR Agreement, various conditions have become mandatory in the name of environment, nature and human security. The logistics company must have an ADR certificate in order to store or transport dangerous chemicals. In addition, the employees in charge must have received ADR training and the vehicles used must comply with the ADR conditions.
