The EU E-commerce Regulation was created by the European Union to determine the rules that will take place in all e-commerce transactions to be made to countries. All companies that do not want to be successful in e-commerce transactions and be exposed to legal practices should comply with the rules of the legislation and in this context, they should pay attention to the selection of customs firms for up-to-date and accurate information.
What is EU E-Commerce Regulation?
EU E-Commerce Regulation is the name given to the regulation that determines the ways to be followed in all e-commerce sales to or from the countries that are members of the European Union. Today, there are more than 25 laws, regulations and communiqués for the regulation of the sales transactions of these products. In order to meet all the conditions required by the EU E-Commerce Regulation created by the European Union Parliament, the “Law on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce” was created in our country in 2014 and is always updated.
EU E-Commerce Regulation generally aims to eliminate the inequality between countries. Thanks to the e-commerce regulation, the inequality between companies and countries is eliminated, and it is ensured that all countries can make sales and receive payments under equal conditions. At the same time, the same procedures can be followed in sales to all European Union member countries, thus eliminating the confusion of files and documents.

One of the most common problems in online sales is that the purchased products do not come out as expected. At this point, with the intervention within the scope of the regulation, sales from fraudulent websites are prevented, access to these sites can be closed by all European Union countries, and the reliability of customers is ensured by applying legal sanctions.
The obligation of companies that sell through online marketplaces instead of their own website directly on the Internet, to specify in detail where they procure these products from, allows price analysis in cases where products from the same manufacturer are sold at different prices.
